This Came from a customer using SFO to create work orders.
Currently, when a Purchase Order (PO) is created, the information does not automatically flow into the corresponding Work Order (WO). Users are required to manually enter the same details again into the WO. This process essentially means creating a PO (without parts in the WO), entering the parts in the PO, and then duplicating those entries in the WO.
We understand this would involve a significant programming change, but we recommend Sage consider enhancing the Service Receivables module so that Work Orders can pull information directly from the PO—similar to how Jobs currently function. From client perspective, and Opterix agrees, having the WO automatically pull data from the PO would make the workflow far more logical and efficient.
