This is a BIG deal for users. Many have "dead" warehouses that are next to impossible to get rid of.
In MAS90/200 version 4.4 resolution 479355 does not work. I exported the information from the five files (IM_ItemWarehouse, IM_ItemWhseHistoryByPeriod, IM_ItemCost,IM_ItemTransactionHistory, IM_LotSerialTransactionHistory) and I tried to import them back in ecluding the lines with the warehouses we no longer want. Even though I went into providex.dde and made all of the records a read type of 'zero', I still can't import the records back into IM_ItemWhseHistoryByPeriod and IM_ItemTransactionHistory. I have worked with Scott Brady on this and he said it is a programming issue. I agree this is a bid deal. My clients want the dead warehouses out of MAS. Since I could do it in version 4.3 and prior I told them I could do it and at the moment the system will not let me. We need a utility for this or the VI import must allow to bring the fields to bring all of the information back in.
OMG! Do you know how many hours I and/or my clients have spent deleting item warehouse records through DFD&M? Too many to count!
The functionality should be similar to the Item Code merge utility, so you will not loose the data or need to export and re-import. would be better just to be able to merge them.
Sage help us with this nightmare and make this functionality a reality!
This is a huge time-consumer to manage. Please work on this issue!
A delete function with merge option would be a time saver.

Many of my clients have repeatedly asked for the ability to remove warehouse codes from item codes even though there is past history of that item in the warehouse needing to be removed.
Cannot believe this hasn't been added as a feature yet! The inability to merge/renumber/delete defunct warehouses is a nightmare for our clients.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE MAKE THIS A PRIORITY!!! IT HAS BEEN TOO MANY YEARS, I HAVE WAREHOUSES UP THE KAZOO THAT WE WANT OUT OF OUR DATABASE!!!!!!

Many years ago MAS had a global delete function that was just great. We could delete huge numbers of parts by date last used or even get rid of whole warehouses. Please bring this back.

This will be available in the 2024 Release, scheduled for April 2024.
