Sales Kits in Sales Order Entry lines tab seem to be hardcoded to use the "current revision" of the Kit Bill. Order entry should be allowed to select a different revision for the Kit Bill at the time the kit is added to the order.
Yes, this will save time and will reduce the number of Items in Inventory.
