Add ability to track consigned in or out inventory without the use of work-arounds.

This has been an issue with more than one prospect/client of ours.
here here... we have to issue a PO, receive all items at $0 cost, when it's time to sell, we: return to vendor, do receipt of goods with the correct cost and then sell the item.
There must be a better way.
This has been (and continues to be) a huge headache for us as well. We would love to see a solution.

We set up a separate company within MAS to keep all consigned items in. It makes it a pain because we constantly have to maintain customers, contacts, etc, in our buy/sell and consignment companies.
We set up each consignment as a separate warehouse. Works ok but would be better if we could delete warehouses once the consignment is no longer being used.
Work around for this is very clunky, please add functionality to support Consigned inventory. Especially ugly when the consigned item is serialized and used in Manufacturing, I need to allocate the serial number to a Work ticket. We purchase the item from Vendor at time of sale, so I need to remove item from WT, remove item from inventory, re-enter serial number into Inventory at correct cost and then reissue to the Work ticket before I post my SO invoice.
