When converting a Sales Order Quote to a Standard Order, the system should automatically check quantities available for each line item that is on the quote during the conversion. This check should happen when you click on the lines tab after changing order type to standard order.

  • This makes more sense than checking quantities when entering a quote. When you enter the quote you don't need to have on hand quantity checked.

  • this would be able to give us more accurate information

  • This is a very needed enhancement. We recently ran into an issue at a new implementation with it not checking the quantities of S/O after it is converted to a quote. We are trying to find a workaround for them as it is a big hole in their process right now.

  • I can't believe this isn't an issue for every user of MAS90. Quotes are usually good for 30 days and inventory changes all the time. Laurie is correct in that when creating a quote, we don't care if the item is in stock, but when that quote becomes and order, we do need the system to check to see if the items on the quote are in stock.

  • Hi everyone, we have developed an enhancement that could solve this issue. Here's a brief demo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rQFW6cpOcpo www.certiprosolutions.com

  • Eddie, no offense, but this should be a standard function of the software and not paid 3rd party enhancement.
