When printing the Inventory Trail Balance Report there are no options to exlude items with a month end zero quantity on hand. Therefore the report may contain a large number of lines with zero quanitity on hand and zero dollars on hand. Some reports can be hundreds of pages with all zeros.

Can't you suppress these lines by editing the report?
Since this is the recommended report from IM to reconcile to the General Ledger, it should have the same functionality as the GL Trial Balance Report. This feature is to uncheck, "Print Accounts with Zero Balance".
