We have clients that cannot fit the postal addresses for Mexico and other countries in the current Mas90 boxes. Maybe we need a free-form address box if you check that you are entering a Foreign country address.
This also goes for name fields. Some have names over 30 characters long.

Please also allow county codes to be printed in address shown on invoice (in all caps). Also allow additional characters to accommodate international telephone #'s.
AND PLEASE ALLOW INTERNATIONAL PHONE NUMBERS AND FAX NUMBERS TOO!
This entire area needs to be more sophisticated. Many of us are doing more and more business internationally. It is difficult to get the corret information into the area provided with it 'assumption' that it is US only.
I agree!! As an example for your IT folks, here is an address I'm trying to enter today in the UK:
(Company Name)
(Retail Unit #)
(Street Name)
Portishead
Bristol
BS20 7GP (Postal Code)
United Kingdom
The two-digit field for State cannot be used for Bristol, so I have to enter the City in the third address line and then enter Bristol as the City, which is bogus. Also add a field to allow for the entry of overseas phone country codes.
I'm a big vote YES to get MAS200 up to date and GLOBAL!
Just came to post this. MAS needs to be more internationally friendly. Longer address fields, longer ZIP field. Don't require a state, Etc... Phone Numbers and Fax Numbers.
It's a golbal economy out there Sage.
This also goes for Payroll. Need address fields that will accept international addresses and transfer them properly to W-2s and electronic reporting.
Yes, we have this same problem! We sell worldwide and constantly struggle with this.
Zip code validation is a major problem with international addresses. If the zip code is not on file then the order will be rejected by the business object, including VI and Sage eBusiness Web Services. There should be an option to turn off zip code validation. I believe that postal codes / zip codes can overlap for different countries. For example, 12345 is a valid zip code in the US, but it may also be a valid postal code in New Zealand. Only one 12345 record can exist in the zip code table. If you enter 12345 and it refers to New Zealand but you wanted the 12345 in the US - you just spent a lot of money shipping product to the wrong place.
I have an address from Mexico that is 47 character long. It looks like City, State, County or at least it has three different parts plus the Country field. It is really odd that we should have to create UD fields for standard fields that should be large enough. With a ever growing Global Economy, Sage should update their standard field sizes to accommodate these needs.
need more space on the name as well
MAS requires me to enter a state for International addresses...why? This should be optional. Need more address lines too!
Please add more space for both names and addresses
Support for accented and other special characters used in international names and addresses is needed in address lines. Ö, É are examples. Even if we copy and paste them in and the field accepts them, a rebuild will strip the records containing the "illegal characters" from the file.
I have a customer we just upgraded from 4.30 to 2013 and they are very upset that they are now being forced to enter in a state for customers in Sweden and other European countries. They don't use states and we feel this might affect reporting down the road. I agree with the other posters here as well that there should be more room, etc.
With our international accounts, we have to put the postal code in the address line since it requires a state when putting it into the zip code field. This can make it hard for the shipper to determine the postal code since it does not go right into our shipping program. There needs to be more room and internationally friendly! Not all countries use postal codes and most countries have Providences and NOT states!
Need to add fields to handle International Address in the Payroll module and be able to transfer these fields over to Aatrix for W2 processing
YES!!! A thousand times yes! We have to become genius abbreviators and pray to God that the mail reaches it's destination!
In Payroll, there isn't even an option to display country codes for international addresses. This is cumbersome when importing W-2 data for Federal E-Filing and having to cut/paste all the international addresses for country code. Please allow international addresses in all modules of MAS90.
Address fields have been expanded to accommodate international addresses in the 2020 release of Sage 100cloud.
