Enhance the Transaction Journal Entry so that there are options similar to

the general journal entry program. The ability to have a standard listing, to copy from another JE, to save transaction entries would improve the functionality and usability of this menu item tremendously.

  • I agree; it would be helpful for customers who are making payroll journal entries to have a "template" to enter into.

  • Instead, Sage should enhance the regular journal entry so that WHENEVER an entry is posted to a cash account it also rights a record to bank recon (QuickBooks does!). You should not have to decide whether to do do a general journal entry or transaction journal entry for bank recon purposes

  • You CAN Save a previous JE as a Standard and reuse that template for the next similar JE in Vs. 4.30.0.14. That is a great feature.
