Here it is June 30, 2010, and the 941 has not been updated by MAS90 for the Form 941 April 2010 update. My first payroll of the next quarter is July 1 and I need to close the quarter and print all reports but have to wait on the update before closing and doing the first payroll in July.

Beginning January 1, 2011, for 2011 employers will be required to put company paid hospital insurance on the W-2 and provide an employee with a W-2 within so many days of their departure. That means a W-2 may need to be prepared in March 2011 with hospital benefits on the W-2.

Sage has got to keep up with Washington. As an employer, I am required to keep up!
