With the implementation of PCI, credit card security has been beefed up tremendously. Since there is no longer a way to entire credit card information without an invoice or a cash receipt, automatically saving the credit card information would ensure that the customer is not bothered again for the information.
TL:DR Can't enter credit card info without charging card. Automatically saving info would help.

My understanding of your suggestion is to have MAS retain in Customer Maintenance all customer cards that are keyed in thru Sales Order &/or cash receipts. I think this would be GREAT! Or give us a box to click as a toggle if we know the customer intends on using the card again in the future. Currently the ONLY way to have MAS retain a credit card is to enter the card in Customer Maintenance.
