Some memo/comment information applies only to a specific ship to location. Adding a pop up memo to a customer with multiple ship to locations, when the memo only applies to a single location, causes the memos to be ignored or become very annoying. Being able to tie memos to specific locations would allow comments and memo information to be linked only to "entities" where the information is relevant, and would then only pop up if that location were used on a SO or Invoice. Makes the pop-ups less annoying and more useful, and therefore more likely they'll be utilized by order entry staff.

  • Had a recent request for this feature in Sage 100. This is important as there may be specific instructions for a customer based upon their ship-to location plus a variety of other reasons. Consider adding this to either the customer memos - select which ship-to it applies to (including all) OR add the ability to add the memo in Ship-To Maintenance

  • Memos based on ship-to address would allow of series of control with the Sage system by which to maintain correct product flow. Often times products may be registered for sale in one state or country but not another. Memo functionality for this would be a great place for Customer Service Reps to remain compliant with federal and international standards.
