Currently, if a work order quantity is greater than the quantity completed, the user must go into Work order enttry and change the quantity ordered to the quantity completed if we want all WIP amounts to be calculated in job costs. If they don't a percent of the costs get posted to scrap. We should be able to say that we ordered 100, but only 95 were completed, and all costs should be included in the item costing process. As it is now, we are unable to report on short completions in the shop, since all quantities received are the same as the quantities ordered
