Scrap is a category of transactions that needs to be closely monitored and reported on. It is highly useful in statistical process control and continuous process improvement. It is much more than a GL matter, affecting factory processes directly.

  • This would also be great to see in WorkOrder. Then reporting could be done on 'scrap' transaction codes.

  • This would eliminate so many reporting issues for our company.

  • This could work like the Reason Code field for cancelling an order.
