Some types of parts are subject to yield - a predictable portion on stock does not work in application. MRP would use this value to extend the result in MP_04SuppliesAndDemands to include buy-make quantities large enough to cover expected fallout. We have several parts in use that we cull to net a narrower performance criteria than the original manufacturer's spec controls, and we scrap the unusable portion. This value would make procurement much easier.
