It appears that the only report to determine what has been sent successfully is from the daily invoice update. Duplicate invoices are sent from the customer master file on an ongoing basis but there does not appear to be a viewer to see those transactions.

A log or dashboard detailing the disposition of every electronic document should be available so users can see what was sent/not sent, along with recipient information.
I agree - one big issue with adoption of paperless is that people are afraid of "stuff being lost" -- having a trail that could be used to verify that a document was sent would go a long way toward convincing users to adopt this feature.
Unfortunately I have a fair amount of push back from end users who are afraid of giving up paper. They want reassurances that something won't just disappear.
What a timely request. Have been troubleshooting client issue for past three days. Some customers are not getting the PDF invoices, others are. Since there is log to access, it is very difficult to nail down the cause. Could be user interface issues, could be network issues. Only the shadow knows here.
I have other clients using this functionality who include their e-mail address as a CC in EACH customer set up. Seems a bit overkill but this is the ONLY way they will use this functionality.
Time to take it to the next level. It is a shame to release these valuable enhancements but fail to improve them as circumstance require.
Our clients have this same issue with both faxing and email. We have control with some fax servers that do log whether the fax was received. The user runs a report showing failed faxes about twice a week. With emails, about the best we have been able to do is know they were sent. We regularly hear about failed emails that do not bounce or give any indication until the customer calls.
After we had been up and running with paperless for over a year, we found out quite by accident that invoices were not actually being e-mailed or saved as pdfs for over a month. this was a terminal services issue, however, it sure would have been nice to have a log file that would have told us this sooner.
Is a Paperless Office module that doesn't work better than no Paperless Office module at all? It's like using a backup system that isn't working and you don't know it until you need to restore from a backup and it's not there.
