Subject:
Printer button is missing in Page Setup page after clicking on setup button on any printing task in windows 7 and Sage MAS90 or 200
Steps to Duplicate:
In ABC company:
1. In Windows 7 that has workstation setup of Sage MAS 90 or 200
Note: LM4045-T must be installed for Windows 7 compatibility.
2. Expand General Ledger , Reports and double click on chart of accounts report.
3. When the printing task comes up click on setup button
4. Notice a page comes up that the title is " Page Setup "
5. Notice that in this page the printer button is missing.
Note: If you do the same action on Windows XP with 4.40 you would have a button called printer which by clicking on it the printer properties can be accessed.
Also the issue does not happen with 4.30 and windows 7
Expected Behavior:
The printer button should be accessible so the user can change the property of their printer.
Possible Workaround:
Preview the report and print it with the property you like

Comments

  • In general, for Res Ids, it would be helpful to have some kind of additional explanation where the enginering status is "Closed - NAB"

  • We have experienced the same issue on Windows Server 2008 R2. It is like the setup button does not load the printer driver. You cann choose any options such as duplex.

  • for some reason, the preview button does not bring the printer properties up on all reports. The status is closed - NAB, what does that mean?????

  • FYI, you can fire off that button by pressing Alt + P even if it's not visible. :)
