The projected demand for a month does not reflect MTD sales in MRP therefore as sales orders are filled the projected demand remains the same. The PD Itm Est line in the MRP report will increase by the amout of the sales as SO are completed.
EXAMPLE: if the projected demand for a month is 1000 and there open sales orders for 600 items the PD item line would read 400. If sales orders for 500 items are completed then the PD Item line will read 900, MRP still assumes another 900 will be required for the month therefore changing the effective demand for the month to 1,500 ( sales 500 plus original projected demand 1000 )
