Currently, when setting employees up for electronic delivery of Direct Deposit stubs, the e-mail address and delivery method must be manually entered into the Paperless Information section of the Direct Deposit screen in Employee Maintenance. That's two clicks per employee just to open the screen, and then the information has to be manually entered. This is very labor intensive, especially when a company may be implementing Direct Deposit within a week's time, and the information must be correct before they can process payroll. The PR_EmployeeDocuments table is not accessible via Visual Integrator Import Job Maintenance, and thus the information cannot be imported. The ability to import this information should be a no-brainer, especially since most employers implementing direct deposit and using MAS 90 have employees numbering in the hundreds.

  • Seems to be a simple straightforward request. And as Ed. W. points out, would actually bring REAL value to the program. I am pitching a prospect a MAS 90 package which includes PR DD. I don't look forward to telling them "Sorry, we have to key all 150 email address into MAS". As Jean Luc would say, "make it happen".

  • I agree, fix VI to allow one to import into that table.

  • This functionality currently exists. PR_EmployeeDocuments is missing from the lookup, but is available to be imported into.

    From Resolution ID 499796:
    1. Expand Visual Integrator and Main. Double-click Import Job Maintenance.
    2. In the Job Name field, enter the name of the import job.
    3. In the Table Name field, enter PR_EmployeeDocuments
    4. Click Accept, and then click Yes at the message "Is xxx a new job?" (xxx = import job name)..

  • Yeah, but the table should be visible.

  • I tried that but did not find anything named PR_EmployeeDocuments

  • I believe the issue is that you cannot import an encrypted password? If you import "ABC" for the password, that is the encrypted value, not the password? I agree, this needs to be an option.
