When using the Unified Logon feature, MAS90 ignores the user password that is stored in SY_User when logging a user into MAS90. Because of this, the password field in User Maintenance is disabled. However, the security event override process uses that password. Even with Unified Logon enabled, a user may change their own password by clicking File right under the MAS90 Desktop menu title; but to do so they must know their existing password. If a user forgets their own password, an admin user with access to User Maintenance needs to change the password. So, even if Unified Logon is enabled, the password field in User Maintenance still needs to be enabled.
