In Purchase Order Entry/Inquiry you can see which user created the PO. However in most places in MAS you can't tell who did what. It would be so nice to know who to go to when you have questions about a previous transaction or entry. Seems like it wouldn't be too difficult to add this feature since it's already in a few places in the software. Why not be more consistent and add a function to all areas instead of picking and choosing where to put it.

I think it's available more than you might think although it may not always be obvious. If you don't see it immediately, try right-clicking on the window and requesting system information.
I didn't know that was available, that's very helpful, thank you. However I see that it tells me that I'm accessing it right now, and who last updated it. But it doesn't show me who created the file originally. That's the information I would find most helpful.
This would be an invaluable tool, especially when auditing sales orders! I have a customized crystal report that provides me this information currently, but would like to see this added as an aid in auditing various modules.
It would be helpful to have the audit report available for each module. Especially in the Bill of Materials, so we can find out who created them and when.
Not only to show the last update, but the history of changes to po, so, etc.
Having to beg for a field that was standard in prior versions and a general default in competing software almost seems ridiculous. The fact that you cannot determine who created an invoice or credit memo in MAS 200/MAS2013/V5.0 is astonishing to anyone in the accounting field. Perhaps you should consult with a large CPA firm when upgrading your software and forgetting key fields that are needed on a daily basis. I certainly hope this will be resolved with urgency. All documents in all modules should have this same feature.
We moved from PFW to Sage and they had small boxes with this information in them on every screen. I too would like to see this information like it was in PFW.
I would like to know who created/entered a journal entry. For separation of duties reasons, the person who created/entered a journal entry can not post the journal entry. When query journal entries the name that appears is the person who posted the journal entry.
Check out this enhancement by DSD! Can request for PO if needed!

Right click in a screen and choose system information. In most screens the creator of that record and last to edit will appear towards the center of the list.
Go to Inventory Management, then Reports, open Item Audit Report. You look up the item code and it shows you who created the item and every change that has been made since its creation, when it was done and who did it.
