Why is it that MAS shows you important information AFTER you post batches?
You can cancel the batch, but then you cannot fix the data entry problem. You have to call your consultant to go into the files and delete the partially posted batch.
Suggestion: 1. Model batch effects at the right user level BEFORE you execute postings that lock out records. 2. Allow the user or supervisor to edit data entry AFTER you model the downstream effect, but BEFORE you lock out the record. 3. Tighten internal controls to prevent the corruption of data that can occur when a user cancels batch processing mid-stream in the batch sequencing.
The intended effect of all data entry should be review-able and editable BEFORE it is posted.
