When a sales order is shipped partial and a backorder is created you should have the option of having the print pick sheet flag turn on automatically. Otherwise, users have to go itno each order and check the box in order to get the pick sheets to print.

Yes, this makes perfect sense and hope that Sage can add such an enhancement soon.
i agree. Even more helpful would be the option to print all backorders after invoicing
This will be available in the 2024 Release, scheduled for April 2024.
A new Sales Order Option will be added to the Forms tab, “Print Forms for Generated Back Orders” with the following drop box selections: None / Order / Picking Sheet / Order and Picking Sheet.
When the S/O Sales Journal is updated, it will automatically set the Print Order and/or Print Pick Sheets check box to Yes for the Backorder in Sales Order Entry based on the setting in the option.
This feature has been added in the 2024 Release, available on April 18/24.
