When you run a Costed BOM from the reports menu under Bill of Materials you get a different dollar amount (cost) depending on whether you select "Selection of Bills" or "Specific Bills".
The "Selection of Bills" will give you the Costed Indented Multilevel BOM Report with incorrect costs on any item that is a sub assembly that has had labor reported on it through the work order module. It does not pick up the labor costs associated with the work order, it only pulls the material costs into the report.
The other choice is "Specific Bills". This report will give you the correct costs for the sub assemblies but it will not give you the indented cost breakdown beyond the first level. The Specific Bills report will not indent beyond the 1st level........therefore we have no "true costed" indented multilevel BOM.
We use average costing. I have spent the last week discussing this with Sage Support and the answer I get is, the report is not available at this time.
