We are not a large business to speak of however we do have approx 6000 items in our system that we regularly have to do price updates on. This is not something we chose to do but it is forced on us by our vendors. With the recent upgrades to MAS90 it has become incredibly difficult. By us now having to use the standard cost adjustment utility not only has it doubled our work load because we must change cost there and sales price in IM it also locks everyone else out of the system while one person does the changes! This equates to days where people cannot work on their computers while one person makes changes to costs!!! Ridiculous! Our only other option is to pay overtime to someone to come in and make the changes when the office is closed. Perhaps there is a way around this but I believe the simplest solution would be to just allow the cost to be changed in IM just like they have been for years regardless of the items status in the system.
Also maybe there could be an actual price/cost changing utility that would allow you to batch change items price/cost in one module and also allow multiple people to work on different ranges of items at the same time.

We are a small company as well. i would like to be able to choose to change inventory costs. We are double entering our purchase orders because we have to change the prices to the correct cost for our vendors. This could easily be resolved if we could correct cost in maintenance.
