Enable running the crystal reports from a batch file or command line. Many reports get run periodically, and having a way to automate would be nice.

  • Have you looked into KnowledgeSync?

  • Hmm... Sage hadn't even suggested this. I'm only getting the audio from the overview video on their site for whatever reason, but at first glance looks like it is has way too many bells and whistles that my company would not want to spring for. I'm currenty using Crystal Reports Exporter from http://www.rainforestnet.com/crexport-download.htm for my non-Sage reports, but I can't get it to work with Sage... even with their help.

    Thanks for your suggestion though.

  • Other people have also used VisualCut with MAS 90/200. You could search on the Community site for those discussions.

  • Have you seen what Sage MAS Intelligence can do?
With Intelligence you can schedule to run the reports at night or a specific time and it can deliver them to you via HTML, email or simply post them on a shared directory.

  • I just checked it out.

    No indication of price.

More importantly, due to extended solutions, we are currently on 4.2, and it appears we need 4.4 for this.

  • In Sage 100, Library Master, Main, the Task Scheduler allows for selecting most any report in Sage 100 to be scheduled to print. You select the module, report, report setting, printer. If the printer is Paperless Office then email addresses can be entered to send the PDFs to when printing is completed (if Paperless and electronic delivery is setup).
