We need the costs for payroll to post to job costs based on the accrual dates. We do job progress billing based on costs. If the costs for the payroll aren't posting until the transaction date then our costs are understated.

You may wish to look at the MAS90 TimeCard module. It will allow Job Cost to be updated independently of Payroll.
