If you do a production entry it is possible to "build" parts with no stock on hand. There should be the option to warn the user if they are about to run a production entry and there is not enough stock on hand in the selected warehouse to complete the production.

I second what Dan said above. I would much rather see the component availabilty without having to run a report. Running Component Availability for each assembly is ridiculous. It would even be nice if it printed the availability on the registers, so you can see what is remaining once you build the assembly.
