In older versions of MAS when you changed a quote to a stardard sales order the ShipExpireDate stayed the same. Now the ShipExpireDate changes to the current date. The old way worked really well for our company. Now, each time we change a quote to an order, many times each day, we have to remember what that orginal ShipExpireDate was so we can re-enter that date. I think there would be many companies that like it the new way but also many companies like ours that need it the old way. Thus, having a sales order OPTION to select the method would benefit all MAS companies.
