When an RMA is issued it does not show (other than BI) in the MAS 90 inventory screen as a return (similar to an open PO). I understand that the open RMA report and RMA Inquiry screens are available but is there no integration with the inventory module?
It would be nice to know that goods are being returned that may be used and avoid purchasing unnecessary stock.

I agree 100%. Really need this to happen. it would also be easier to look up when someone asks me if item x is already on RMA, rather than having to open each RMA and look for it.
Totally agree and have been asking for this for years. We currently create a sales order to keep the item from showing up as in stock in inventory. Works great unless you return the item and forget the manual process of deleting the sales order, in which case it creates a negative and you end up reordering.
Absolutely need this. Especially with slow moving stock or case packs, it can be a nightmare. There would need to be an "ON RMA" column, so we could run different reports with regards to inventory/ordering. Some of our RMA's can take months to resolve and may need to be ordered in the interim, but I need to be aware of them.
