We, in my opinion, over use memos. As a result, we're finding it necessary to "differentiate" between the memos. Currently we use different combinations of special characters and caps to apply emphasis to a special word/phrase/paragraph/note. This would be much easier to accomplish with bold, italic, and font color formatting. Font size would be great as well, but not as beneficial as the standard styling attributes.

  • You can attach a Word document to a memo to put in all the various fonts, colors, etc you wish.

  • I agree, making the memo field a rich text field would be really nice. It is over kill to attached a word document when all you want to do is mark a line in red and underline it so it stands out.

  • Yes, it would be nice to change the fonts or background as well.

For example if an important memo appeared, it would be nice to have the font show up in RED or have the back in RED.
