When you enter an Inventory Transaction Entry, "Issue" type entry, you have the ability to also enter a Job Number if the goods are being issued to a specific Job Cost Job Number. However, once you update and post that entry, the Job Number is not retained in the Detail Transaction History files and you can no longer see the Job Number when trying to determine what parts were issued to a specific job.

MAS should Inventory Transaction Detail History should retain the Job Cost Job Number.

  • Since there are no reports in Job Cost it would be nice to add job number and cost code to the transaction detail view in explorer so we can easily see which material got issued to a job and this way determine if there are any errors etc.
