When adding PDF Document password in P/R Employee Maintenance/Direct Deposit/Paperless Office Delivery Options it is encrypted. While you are manually adding the password it comes up as $$$$$$ so there is no way to verify that you typed it correctly. There should be a Role permission to allow viewing without the encryption so you know you typed it correctly. Or add a Verify password so that you have to type it twice and have to retype if they don't match.

  • I currently have a client creating PDF passwords for several hundred employees. They did not want to use social security number or randomly assign. As they are typing in the passwords, there is no way to know for sure they typed the correct password.
