When an Item description is updated or changed, if that Item is in any bom, the description does not change. They should always be equal since they are the same part number.

• I totally agree. We have several items where the Inventory Item Description does not match the BOM description. We now have to go to each item and update the BOM description. The field length should also be the same.

• Will this ever be done? I am sick of going into the Inventory module and the BOM module to try and make the company item descriptions match the BOM description. Field lengths are different in each module. What a PITA!
