On the PO page we need to take two steps to find the next number - ex: We use the job # 12000 and a dash and PO# (1200-1 is the first PO for that job), in order for us to find the next number we have search the root number 12000 and to see what numbers have been used, then we have to go out of the PO and go back into the PO window with the next number. Because Sage is so very slow, this process can take up to 4 mins. It really can be very time consuming when you multiply this by 10 + POs a day, there should be a way that we can just imput the next PO from the search screen or by putting in the root number hit the next button and it will pull up the next number availble for that Job's Purchase Order

If you have a slowness issue it is important you address that first. Do you have a lot of data? Are you on MAS 90 versus 200? Do you have 100mb networks instead of Gigabit? Is antivirus scanning the MAS directory? There are quite a number of reasons there to look at first.
