After updating the MRP auto generate work order register, the end user needs to go into Work Order Entry and make changes to warehouse information because some make items are made in different warehouses or sometimes components are located in a different warehouse than the warehouse where the make item will be manufactured.
Create and populate two Item Fields for:
1. MAKE ITEM PARENT WAREHOUSE
2. MAKE ITEM COMPONENT WAREHOUSE
MRP Auto Generate Work Orders program would be modified to use the above fields to determine the parent warehouse and component warehouse for each make item on the work orders that are auto generated.
For example, if item PARENT1 has values of: 001 for the Make Item Parent Warehouse and 002 for the Make Item Component Warehouse, then the auto generated work order would have 001 as the Parent Whse and 002 as the Component Whse in WO Entry for the work order making PARENT1 (the warehouse information on the Auto Generate Work Orders screen would not apply since the PARENT1 item has the Make Item Parent Whse and Make Item Component Whse field values, in other words these Item field values would take precedence over the MRP warehouse values on the Auto Generate Work Orders screen)
