Allow creation of repetitive SO invoices along the lines of the repetitve AR invoices so we could include inventory items on the repetitive invoices.

this would be great, the only reason we issue invoices in the A/R module is for repetitive invoices. And the A/R module creates issues as we rarely do them and we have to remember to checkmark the Print Invoice option on the AR Invoice data entry header. The SO invoice data entry screen is much more straight forward.
