When an opportunity changes status - i.e. converting a quote to a sales order, or when a sales order has been shipped and/or invoiced - the status of the opportunity does not change automatically. I am seeing completed and shipped orders that appear as "proposal submitted" in CRM. The system reports the correct information when you drill down into the opportunity, but this is not reflected in the summary data or the graphic representations. Seems like a no-brainer for the integration team.

  • Unfortunately the Order Status field has NOTHING to do with CRM Opportunity Status. probably because you can have multiple Quotes and Orders in one opportunity. I find the logic in that programming to be ridiculously stupid.
