In Sales Order Options (line entry tab), you have the option to display unit cost and profit margin. This is an all or nothing choice that will show or not show these items, in both Sales Order Entry and Invoice Data Entry. At this point, I would like these things to only show up in Invoice Data Entry, but not Sales Order Entry. It seems like a shame that I would have to create custom panels in order to customize it as I want for all of my employees. It seems like it would be easier to turn this on or off through role maintenance instead (similar to how cost is shown or not shown in the inventory module).

  • This is a big oversight. How can you create such a useful option but make it all or nothing?? You already have roles set up to hide costing information but why not include that in Sales Order and Invoice Data Entry?
