When adding a new line in AP data entry detail with Job Cost integrated, that the entry starts with a new blank line and not copying the previous lines Job Number and Cost Code.

Makes data entry take more time and more prone to errors!

  • I have mixed feelings about this, because sometimes the majority of the AP entry detail is NOT for Job Costed items... so I don't want many lines accidentally getting coded to a job just because they follow an entry that did belong to a job. Perhaps using the CTRL-' Excel trick to copy the previous line's value would speed entry without automatically defaulting the the last entry? Or if all entries are for a job, perhaps enter the job# and cost code at the header could allow all lines to defaulted to that code, while allowing the rest of our entries to be blank as usual.
