Why can't the sales tax report be like the report that the state wants. Sage's end report should report the exact requirements without having to look up information for cities. It needs to work the report so it comes out with all the answers so my job is simplified. Please.

Each State's requirements are different. Could you be more specific on what reporting requirements you need?
Please make the AR Sales Tax Report with the option to print as the State of California requires for the breakdown by Sales District when reporting on-line to the state each quarter. Separating the totals for each city and balance in the district.
The AR Sales Tax Report could be adapted to the way we report our sales taxes to the State of California every quarter. The report needs breakdown the sales district taxes for each each city according to the on-line reporting for the state of California.
This report needs to be able to be printed by department. Its not even close in the total amount paid versus the GL reports we balance to.
