After closing a Make to Stock Sales Order if we look at the Transactions tab in Inventory Item Maintenance, we no longer see the Sales Order Number...only the Sales Order Invoice Number where the item was closed. Please have the system retain the Sales Order Number. Otherwise, we have to add a step to our inquiry by looking up the Invoice Number to get the Sales Order Number.
