As of right now, within Sales Order Entry, you have the ability to create a new opportunity in Sage CRM by clicking the Assign button next to the Sage CRM Opportunity Field. There is also an magnifying glass button to select an existing opportunity to put the Sales Order in as well. The point is, you can create an on the fly opportunity from within Sales Order Entry which is a nice option in case you are not able to from within CRM itself.
This request has two different things to it but mainly because I know I would need to explain the "what if" portion as well.
Request #1: If you click the assign button to create an OTF Opportunity within Sales Order Entry, a magnifying glass button should become available next to the "Sage CRM User" field. Upon clicking this new button, it would open up a list of all Sage CRM Users, that you can assign the opportunity to. This would help quickly assign the opportunity to a CRM User as well as create it. The way it is right now, if you assign an opportunity from within Sales Order Entry, you would have to go into Sage CRM to assign the opportunity just created, which takes extra unnecessary time, and can go forgotten.
(this next request is simply for the what if scenario eventhough I dont specifically need it)
Request #2: if you choose an existing opportunity to put the Sales Order in, it will automatically populate the Sage CRM user it is assigned to. You should not be able to have the ability to assign a user to an opportunity that has already been created.
