There is typically turnover with salespeople. It would be handy to have the ability to have delete, renumber, and merge capabilites available for salespersons - similar functionality to AR customers. It would also be helpful to have the ability to inactivate salespersons - similar functionality to AR customers.

This would be wonderful! An option for the Salesperson Code to change on Ship To's and/or just the Customer Account would be a BONUS!
Right now we have to do these changes manually or thru a VI job, either way is time consuming.

The ability to inactivate a sales person code would be so helpful! People change jobs, companies and/or retire. We should have the ability to mark that sales person as inactive to help ensure our customer are provided the most correct and up to date contact information.
In Sage 100, you an make a Salesperson inactive in Accounts Receivable, Setup, Salesperson Maintenance. Next to the field for Salesperson No,, there is checkbox for Inactive.
I don't think you would ever want to delete a Salesperson for the sake of history. That being said, the ability to renumber and merge would be great.
