I used JD Edwards accounting software years ago that had the ability to copy and paste tables to/from spreadsheets. You could copy a 100 line journal entry into excel, quickly edit, sort, etc. and paste it back into the programs. Even create new entries by copying and pasting. Saves hours of data input and editing. All tables in Sage should have this ability.
We have started to import our journal entries into Sage 100 using Visual Integrator. This allows us to create all JE in excel and then just import that file which not only saves time but it reduces any manual keying errors.
