Many banks will not accept an electronic payment if the effective of the payment is equal to the day the ACH file is submitted. However, Sage defaults the Effective Date to the current module date. Need an option to default that Effective to 1 or more days after the current module date.

Mark, I'm pretty sure there is now an effective date field when processing ACH Payments.
Mark, most banks require at least 2 days, some will take 1 depending on when you get the ACH file to them. The effective date field defaults to the current system date and can be changed. I think the reason why having a set number of days field to determine the effective date wouldn't work is because it wouldn't take into account weekends or Holidays depending on when you run the ACH.
