At a minimum, Add ability to Filter a report or form by any field that is included in the report. Allow users to add filters to reports on the fly and save new filters. For example: print all sales orders for a specified customer number or specified promise date, Print inventory stock reports for qty on hand < 0. Crystal reports can be used, but there are a lot of great reports that would be more valuable with some additional options on how to print them.

It is unfortunate that Sage allows UDF fields to be added to some reports but not others (eg. Open PO Report by Item). The lack of filtering makes the end-users job a lot more difficult - added steps of having to Export to Excel, etc.
