At a minimum, Add ability to Filter a report or form by any field that is included in the report. Allow users to add filters to reports on the fly and save new filters. For example: print all sales orders for a specified customer number or specified promise date, Print inventory stock reports for qty on hand < 0. Crystal reports can be used, but there are a lot of great reports that would be more valuable with some additional options on how to print them.

  • It is unfortunate that Sage allows UDF fields to be added to some reports but not others (eg. Open PO Report by Item). The lack of filtering makes the end-users job a lot more difficult - added steps of having to Export to Excel, etc.
