We require will call customers to sign the packing list. Having this form available in paperless office would be a real time saver.

  • Though I'd share our solution to this issue.....
    We now print the packing list to a pdf.
    We pull up the pdf on a surface pro tablet using drawboard pdf. This allows a signature and comments to be placed anywhere on the document. We then save the pdf with the signature and print only the required paper copies.

    Our customers generally have invoices that are emailed to corporate billing centers. The standard paperless office in Sage works great for this. Branch locations need only the packing lists.

    At end of day, we use Task Centre to email the packing lists to the branch locations. We use the invoices in our open batch to supply the number for the packing list (same as invoice #) and supply the email address for the packing list to go to.

    We've received good feedback from our customers.
