We need to have the purchase order created from a sales order mirror each other exactly. Line for line and tag for tag. When like item numbers are combined on a purchase order created from a sales order it becomes completely useless to our customers who may order many of the same item but require them to be tagged or grouped differently to signify their stock location. With the current system all like items are grouped together when the sales order is created making the location tagging useless.
Having to go back and correct a PO manually each time wastes many many hours of our order entry time. Our customers depend on this feature when it comes time to install the product and to reconcile their PO against our invoices.
