After more than a year of being a certified Sage Consultant having previously been a Great Plains consultant I can say their are two thing I would love to see in regards to looking at inquiries that I saw were extremely beneficial to clients when training them in Great Plains.

First, I would the ability to in AR and AP on the invoice tab in customer or vendor maintenance/inquiry to have the option to display "Open" and "Historical" Invoices. Thus basically a button to give you the three options between Open, Historical, and All invoices. This way you are able to scroll down one list to find past invoices making it easier than having to go to a different inquiry window to look up history.

Second, I would love the ability to when you open up any transaction that posted to the GL to be able to see just the GL impact for that specific transaction and not the entire batch, but have an option to drill in and see the GL transaction from the entire batch. This can be especially helpful for users that want to trace a transactions postings.

As I stated before having trained, implemented and consulted on both systems and I believe this would be a huge advantage for Sage 100 clients to have this functionality.
