i have thousands of part numbers; need to be able to run an inventory trial balance in excel format so that they can be sorted and filtered expediently. a 80 page crystal report is pretty much useless to reconcile inventory. the report should list the item number, the quantity by warehouse, the PO number that was used to receive inventory, the bin location, etc.

How about using the inventory explorer - item quantities by warehouse view. Results are exportable.
The Inventory Trial Balance can be modified through Crystal to achieve this result. I have also modified the Inventory Valuation report to Export to Crystal.
